Centre implements Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act at various stages

New Delhi: The Central Government announced on Wednesday that a substantial number of provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 have been implemented, with the remaining provisions being implemented at various stages.

"A substantial number of provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act have been implemented, and remaining provisions are at various levels of implementation," Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai told the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.

"There are a few subjects on which the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana must agree. Consistent efforts are undertaken to develop consensus between the two countries so that bilateral issues can be resolved amicably "he stated

From now forward, the Rajya Sabha will meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., while the Lok Sabha will meet from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The President's address commenced with the 2022 Budget Session of the Parliament on January 31. The first half of the budget session runs from January 31 to February 11, while the second half runs from March 14 to April 8.
