A few days ago Ganta Srinivasa Rao, a former minister from North Visakhapatnam and MLA of the Telugu Desam Party, submitted his resignation in protest against the privatization of the steel plant on 7 February. Regarding this, Rao had said, 'It is the responsibility of the CM to stop the privatization of the steel plant. All parties and activists should unite and fight this war against privatization while keeping away political bias. For this, everyone should be ready to pay whatever price they have to pay. If required, you should also resign.
