Dehradun: The Rishikesh-Gangotri highway in Uttarakhand, near Narendranagar Kumharkheda, has not been opened for transportation even on the third day. Route diverted from Hindolakhal-Neer-Kiwani. From Tuesday night, small trains going to Dehradun are being run through Chamba-Dhanaulti and Mussoorie. In Uttarkashi, Yamunotri highway is blocked at many places due to landslides due to rain late Tuesday night.

It has not been raining since morning, there is light sunshine. Yamunotri Highway Ojari Dubarkot has been opened near Rana Chatti. Badrinath highway is closed at Kshetrapal, Birhi, Lambagad. NH's JCB is busy opening the highway. Late-night rains in the city have stopped in the morning. The Kedarnath Yatra route is blocked ahead of Rudraprayag-Gaurikund National Highway Sonprayag. Along with this, the people there have faced many problems due to the blocking of the route.

On the other hand, with the increase in the investigation of corona in the state, the infection rate has also increased. Within 15 days, one lakh samples were tested in the state. Currently, active patients (active cases) have exceeded 4500. Due to which the pressure of treatment on hospitals is increasing. The first case of corona infection was found in the state on 15 March. By the beginning of July 125, that is, 15 lakh samples were tested. The government insisted on increasing sampling and increased the number of laboratories for COVID testing in the state.
