After dating for a year Chelsea Handler and Jo Kou are calling it quits according to an Instagram post by the comedian, Handler through a lengthy note said that the couple will be parting ways. Both Chelsea and Koy shared a video on their Instagram handle on their one-year anniversary, she further wrote in the caption, "It is with a heavy heart to announce that we have decided together that it is best for us to take a break from our relationship right now."

The couple had known each other for over 20 years and began dating each other a year ago. Handler further told fans, "I know many of you were invested in our love, and I wanted to express to you how much that meant to both of us. How much it still means. And how much I now believe in love for each one of us." 

The caption was definitely a tearjerker for the fans, however, that is what the couple decided is best for them, as the comedian-actor had nothing but kind words for her ex-partner, she further added,   "To be loved and adored by @jokoy has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. He renewed my faith in men, in love, in being 100% who I am, and I've never been more optimistic for the future."

On the other hand, fans are hoping that this breakup is only temporary, and the couple will be back together in the near future, Chelsea too added in the caption that this might not be the end for both of them.
