In the midst of allegations of incest and domestic violence against the singer, actor, and songwriter Ricky Martin by his 21-year-old nephew, he is still scheduled to play back-to-back shows at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend.

The 50-year-old Port Rican star is slated to make his Hollywood Bowl debut alongside the Los Angeles Philharmonic on Friday and Saturday. The concert is conducted by the L.A. Phil’s Gustavo Dudamel, the concert is mentioned on the Hollywood Bowl website as “an exhilarating night of ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ and many other international hits with the King of Latin Pop!” Tickets for the event are still available ranging from $15 to $157.

Even though Martin himself and his attorney denied any kind of sexual or romantic relationship between the two, Martin is facing up to 50 years in prison if charged guilty.

When asked by The Times if Martin intends to perform at the iconic venue this weekend, a publicist for the musician replied via an email: “Absolutely.” A representative for the L.A. Phil also confirmed Monday that the shows will go on, with Martin in it.

Martin has been tangled in this controversy for the past week and ended up receiving a restraining order against him under Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law.

The victim allegedly dated Martin for seven months, however after the relationship faced its end, the news was not taken well by Martin, leading up to him harassing and stalking his nephew.  The legal document also notes that “the petitioner fears for his safety.” However, earlier this month Martin said that he will  “respond through the judicial process with the facts and the dignity that characterize me.”
