Raipur: In Korba district of Chhattisgarh, a couple and their one and a half-year-old girl have been found hanging in the house. Police speculate that the couple may have committed suicide after hanging the girl. While giving information on Saturday, police officers of Korba district said that Ashok Kumar Ratre (28 years) and his wife Ragini Ratre hanged one and a half-year-old girl Ashi in Sirki village under Deepka police station area of the district. Later the couple committed suicide by hanging themselves.

Police officials further said that Ashok Kumar worked in a private company. He lived in Siraki village with his family. This morning, when the family did not leave for a long time, the neighbors looked inside the window with the fear of untowardness. Then the neighbors saw that Ashok and his children were hanging in a room and his wife in another room.

Officials said the neighbors immediately informed Deepka police station about this. After receiving the information, a police team was dispatched for the spot, and the bodies were sent for post-mortem. The police feared that the couple hanged the girl after a family dispute and later committed suicide by hanging herself. However, the police is currently investigating the case.
