New Delhi: The number of patients infected with the global epidemic coronavirus has crossed three lakh 20 thousand. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday morning, 11 thousand 929 new cases of corona have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours and 311 people have died. With this, the total cases of corona infection in the country have been 3 lakh 20 thousand 922.

Also, so far 9195 people have died due to coronavirus. There are 1 lakh 49 thousand 348 active cases while 1 lakh 62 thousand 379 patients have become healthy. India ranks fourth among the countries most affected by the Corona epidemic after the United States, Brazil, Russia. The most affected state of Coronavirus in India is Maharashtra where the number of infected is 10641. Of these, 49346 people have become healthy while 3830 people have died.

More than 51 thousand infected people are being treated in hospitals. It is followed by Delhi at second place, Tamil Nadu at third, Gujarat at number four and West Bengal at number five. These five states have the most active cases. The number of active cases in Delhi is close to 22,700. While the number of active cases in Tamil Nadu is around 18,800. The number of active cases in Gujarat is more than 5,700.
