New Delhi: On the border dispute between Nepal and India, veteran leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has emphasized on the renewal of Indian foreign policy. Subramanian Swamy has said that India needs to reestablish foreign policy.

Subramanian Swamy tweeted, writing, 'How can Nepal think for Indian territory? Its feelings have been so hurt that it wants to break relations with India? Isn't this our failure? Foreign policy needs to be re-established. India has described it as an artificial extension of Nepal's violations and claims'. In the revised map from Nepal, the strategically important Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura area along the Indian border has its claim. All these parts come under the boundary of Uttarakhand state in the Indian map. The bill was introduced by Nepal's Law Minister Shivamaya Tumbahamphe, through which the map has also been updated in the national emblem.

However, on the issue of the constitutional amendment on behalf of the delegation of Nepal, Anurag Shrivastava, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, said, "We have noticed that the delegation of Nepal has made a change to change the map of Nepal to include the Indian territories. The constitution amendment bill is passed. We have already cleared our position on this matter."
