Islamabad: Recently Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke with his Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi through video conference and discussed many issues including regional tension with India, Kashmir issue, Afghanistan, CPEC and Coronavirus. . This information has been given in a statement given by the Foreign Ministry of China itself.

Wang said that China and Pakistan should cooperate together to deal with obstacles, maintain common interests, regional peace and stability. Pakistan, along with the other 52 countries, supported China's National Security Law and the National Security Law, particularly for China's values, in the 44th session of United Nations Human Rights. Wang said that such action demonstrates international society's support for global justice and global norms.

Wang said that the two countries, China-Pakistan, should speed up projects under the Economic Corridor (CPEC) and increase cooperation in health and medical care by training workforce, poverty alleviation and agriculture to aid economic recovery in Pakistan. For the terrorist attack in Karachi, Wang said that China supports Pakistan in dealing with terrorism and hopes that Islamabad will provide greater security to Chinese organizations and citizens working in the country.
