Dharmesh, who had gone to Goa for assignment, was infected due to contact with some outsiders. In a statement issued after which the producer of the show Arvind Rao had said, "Whatever has happened is unfortunate but we have to move forward. Now because of the weekend lockdown, we will not shoot on Sundays, which we used to do earlier and since Dharmesh can't shoot now we have replaced him with Puneet Pathak".
