Bijnor: Today, clashes broke out between two communities in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district which left three killed and several others wounded.

A girl was allegedly harassed by a group of men which triggered a fight and the violence broke out between two groups.

Three people were killed in the gunshot firing and right now the situation is tense but calm.

Uttar Pradesh police chief Javeed Ahmed said, "It was an unprovoked firing by one set of people. Some of the victims are undergoing treatment in a hospital".

Six people had been taken into the custody as the senior officials were on the spot.
