Chandigarh: Curfew imposed in Punjab for Corona epidemic has been extended for two weeks. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced this decision. However, with this, he said that during this period, exemption will be given for four hours from seven in the morning to eleven in the state.

Earlier in Punjab, curfew was imposed till 30 April which has now been announced to increase. CM Amarinder said that from seven in the morning to eleven in the morning, people can get out of the house, shops will remain open. He said that we want to open shops and run the industry, but there is no time for complete relaxation. Currently, social distancing is the only option to avoid the coronavirus.

Amarinder Singh said in his address that this disease is not going to stop so soon. Now if anyone comes to Punjab, it will be screened and they will be quarantined. He said, "Today the curfew and lockdown imposed in Punjab due to Corona's disease has become its 38th day. Doing one day, two days is right, but doing 38 days is a big sacrifice for you. You have given this sacrifice for your Punjab, your people and family living here."
