Preparations for Ram Van Gamaan Path starts, CM Baghel gives instructions to officials

Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions to start the work of developing 'Ram Van Gaman Path' soon. CM Baghel said this while reviewing the concept plan prepared for the path. In a meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence office on Sunday, CM Baghel said that tourism should be promoted in places of Ram Van Gaman Path from a commercial point of view, which can create employment opportunities for the local people.

He said that out of 51 sites identified on the path, 9 sites Sitamarhi-Har Chaika, Ramgarh, Shivrinarayan Turturia, Chandkuri, Rajim, Sihawa Sapta Rishi Ashram, Jagdalpur and Ramaram should be developed from the point of view of tourism. Plantation should be done in all the places of the path. There should be uniformity in the works of beautification of all places. During this meeting, Home and Tourism Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Chaubey and Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivakumar Dahria, Chief Secretary RP Mandal, Additional Chief Secretary Subrata Sahu and Additional Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain were present along with other officers.

In the meeting, CM Baghel has also asked to set up a Yagyashala, Yoga-meditation center, discourse center in Sapta Rishi Ashram, Rajim's Lomash Rishi Ashram. Instructions have also been given to build a Dharamshala near Lomash Rishi Ashram. It has also been asked to make arrangements for tourists' stay in different places.
