Ranchi: There is every possibility of expansion of cabinet in Jharkhand in one or two days after Kharmas. Political agitation has intensified regarding this. Meanwhile, the state of Jharkhand has shifted to Delhi to get a place in the cabinet. Several Congress MLAs, including CM Hemant Soren, are frozen in Delhi. On December 29, JMM working president Hemant Soren was sworn in as CM after the Congress, RJD and JMM combine won the Jharkhand Assembly elections.

The speculation of expansion is being done. According to sources, more than six Congress MLAs are camping in Delhi. CM Hemant Soren is also engaged in building consensus with top Congress leaders on cabinet expansion. Soren attended a meeting of leaders of opposition parties in Delhi on Monday and is still in Delhi. He later told the press that there is no problem with cabinet expansion and the cabinet will be expanded as soon as he returns to Ranchi.
