New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said today that the second phase of the coronavirus reaching the peak in Delhi has passed and the situation has been largely controlled. CM Kejriwal said that the Delhi government has increased the tests to detect infection faster.

He has said that, "On September 17, the second phase of coronavirus reached the peak in Delhi when 4,500 cases were registered across the city. The situation has been controlled to a great extent. ”CM Arvind Kejriwal also said that 10,000 beds are now vacant in hospitals. "I am hopeful that the second phase will also pass slowly," he said. On Monday, 32 patients died due to the Corona epidemic in Delhi, raising the number of dead to 5,542.

He said that apart from this, 1,947 new cases of infection have come up in the city, after which the total number of infections has exceeded 2.92 lakhs. After the death of 32 patients, the total number of dead increased to 5,542. At present 23,480 patients are being treated in Delhi. According to the bulletin, the total number of corona infections in Delhi has been 2,92,560.
