Bhopal: You must be aware that every year on the second day of shukla paksha of ashadh month, rath yatra is taken out at Puri of Lord Jagannath. The festival of Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath begins today. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted his best wishes to all on this auspicious occasion. In his tweet, he wrote "Heartiest congratulations to you on the rath yatra of Lord Jagannath! May the Lord be blessed and the kingdom of mars and goodness in all directions, may the country and the world be free from corona and all challenges! Jai Jagannath!"

At the same time, he further wrote: "May the blessings of Lord Jagannath bring prosperity in everyone's life and may all be full of health." Apart from him, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister and In-charge of Indore Narottam Mishra tweeted: "Heartiest greetings and best wishes to all the countrymen on the mahamahotsav of Lord Jagannath ji's Rath Yatra!''

In a tweet, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang wrote: "My best wishes to all the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra, may Lord Jagannath give happiness, prosperity, glory to all and maintain your blessings on all." This Rath Yatra is believed to have been believed that one day Lord Jagannath's sister Subhadra had prayed to him to visit Dwarka. Then Lord Jagannath had made him sit in a chariot and tour the entire city to fulfill his sister's wishes and this Rath Yatra started after that.
