Bhopal: Flood outbreak continues to increase in Madhya Pradesh, due to continuous rains, Hoshangabad area of Madhya Pradesh is affected by floods. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan visited Hoshangabad area in a boat and visited the flood affected areas. Due to the incessant rains in the state, the water level in the Narmada River has increased and at present the Hoshangabad Narmada River is flowing eight feet above the danger mark.
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan himself has given information in this regard. Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the administration is doing everything possible to help people. Five Indian Army helicopters have been deployed to rescue people stranded in the floods. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has expressed gratitude to the Indian Air Force, NDRF, SDRF and other officials for saving the people from the flood.
CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the water of the flood is decreasing now and now our focus is to give clean food and water to people and to prevent the spread of disease. Along with this, arrangements will be made to bring food to those who have been evacuated to safe places and medicine, how much damage has been done so far due to floods, it will be assessed.
