Bhopal: Today is the birth anniversary of Nightingale of India, freedom fighter, poetess Sarojini Naidu. Sarojini Naidu, famous as 'Bharat Kokila', was born on 13 February 1879. She was born in Hyderabad. Today on the birth anniversary of Sarojini Naidu, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan pays tribute to her. He wrote his views through a tweet.


In the tweet, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan wrote, 'Shram Karte Hai Hum, Ki Samudra Ho Tumhari Jagrati Ka Kshan, Ho Chuka Jagran, Ab Dekho, Nikla Din Kitna Ujjawal- Sarojini ji, India Nightingale, freedom fighter, poetess on the birth anniversary of poetess Sarojini Naidu : greeting! Your sharp ideas will inspire future generations to build a new India. ' Apart from him, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra also tweeted and pays homage on the birth anniversary of Sarojini Naidu.

 


He wrote in the tweet- 'Hundreds of salutes and humble tribute to the great freedom fighter and social worker Sarojini Naidu ji. Sarojini Naidu, the example of women empowerment, has made invaluable contribution in the freedom struggle, your principles and ideas are an inspiration for all of us. ' Sarojini Naidu is known as "The Nightingale of India". She had a keen interest in poems since childhood, and her first collection of poems, "The Golden Threshold", was published in the year 1905.
