Bhopal: Today is the birth anniversary of Nightingale of India, freedom fighter, poetess Sarojini Naidu. Sarojini Naidu, famous as 'Bharat Kokila', was born on 13 February 1879. ' Sarojini Naidu is known as "The Nightingale of India". She had a keen interest in poems since childhood, and her first collection of poems, "The Golden Threshold", was published in the year 1905.
