Bhopal: You all must know that every year today i.e. on 28 February, National Science Day is celebrated. Indeed, on 28 February 1928, the great scientist CV Raman discovered his famous Raman effect. Now today, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan greeted everyone on National Science Day. He has made a tweet and through the same tweet, he has congratulated all the people on National Science Day.

 


In his tweet, he has written 'I congratulate all the citizens on National Science Day, the great scientist of India, Dr. Come on Science Day, celebrated by CV Raman for the discovery made in the field of science, let us all together remember the achievements of the great scientist.' At the same time, Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Narottam Mishra has also tweeted and congratulated everyone for National Science Day. He has said, ''Heartfelt greetings of 'National Science Day' celebrated in honor of the discovery of 'Raman Effect' by the great Indian scientist, Dr. CV Raman Ji, all of us honorable people who have made significant contributions from research and innovations in the progress of the country. Thankful to the scientists.''

CV Raman's full name was Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman and he was born on 7 November 1888 in Tiruchilapalli, Tamil Nadu. He received a Gold Medal in Physics at the University of Madras. CV Raman died on 21 November 1970.
