Andhra Pradesh: Chief Minister YS Jagan to visit Tirupati next week. As part of the tour itinerary, he will arrive at Renigunta Airport on the 11th at 2.55 pm and from there he will participate in the inauguration of Bird Hospital, roof construction work at Alipiri and the inauguration of the newly constructed Gomandiram. Later, he will attend a headscarf event in Tirumala and present silk robes to Lord Venkateswara. The Chief Minister will stay at Padmavati Guest House on October 11.

The next day he will visit Srivastava and launch a Rs 12 crore SVBC (Kannada, Hindi) channel and a modern Bundi Potu. He will then attend a presentation on the new programs implemented by TTD and the TTD-Farmer Empowerment Agency MoU programme. Later, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will depart for Tadepalli from Renigunta Airport. Venkateswara Temple is a Hindu temple located in the hill town of Tirumala, Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu, who is believed to have appeared here to save mankind from the trials and troubles of Kali Yuga.

The temple is also known by other names like Tirumala Temple, Tirupati Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple. Here is the richest temple in the world in terms of donations and money received. About 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims visit the temple daily, while on special occasions and festivals, such as the annual Brahmotsavam, the number of pilgrims reaches 500,000, there are many legends associated with the appearance of the Lord at Tirumala. According to a legend, the temple houses an idol (deity) of Venkateswara, which is believed to remain here for the entire period of the present Kali Yuga.
