Mumbai: Thegame of shah and mat is continuing in the political crisis of Maharashtra. On the one hand, rebel leader Eknath Shinde's faction is becoming increasingly strong. On the other hand, the MLAs seem to be separating from Uddhav Thackeray one by one. Even after this, the Shiv Sena is claiming to be strong. So far, a letter has been sent to the Deputy Speaker by the Shiv Sena demanding disqualification of 16 rebel MLAs. Shinde, on the other hand, is calling himself the leader of the legislature party.

Only 13 party MLAs had attended the shiv sena MLA's meeting held yesterday. In Maharashtra, they have 55 MLAs. It has become clear that the remaining 42 MLAs are with the Shinde faction. Out of these, 38 MLAs have reached Guwahati with Shinde. That means, the anti-defection law will no longer apply to the Shinde faction. Amid a political uproar, two independent MLAs from Maharashtra have demanded the removal of Deputy Speaker Narahari Jirwal. A while ago, Narahari Jirwal accepted the Shiv Sena's demand and recognised MLA Ajay Chaudhary as the leader of the legislature party. Apart from this, Sunil Prabhu of the Uddhav camp was elected as the party's chief whip.

Let me tell you that this decision is like a setback for the Shinde faction. Because they are calling Eknath Shinde the leader of the legislature party. MlAs from Maharashtra are staying in Assam. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's statement has come on this. "I invite all the MLAs in the country to come to Assam. I don't know when the government will be formed in Maharashtra, but the number of days they (MLAs) will stay is a matter of happiness for me. I also want to call Uddhav Thackeray ji for a holiday.
