Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has convened a meeting of Bengaluru MLAs and ministers in the wake of rising cases of corona virus in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is believed that during this period, strict steps can be taken to reduce the spread of corona epidemic. Earlier, he had urged people to say that if the public does not want a lockdown in Bengaluru again, they will have to cooperate with the government in preventing the spread of corona virus. If the government gets support from the public, then the possibility of imposing lockdown again may be less.

In his statement, BS Yeddyurappa said that in view of the growing cases of Corona virus in the city, today I have called a meeting to discuss with the MLAs and ministers of Bengaluru. Every MLA and Minister will have to work for the prevention of this disease in his constituency. Amidst speculation about implementing lockdown in the city, he said that there is no question of lockdown. Because we have already sealed some areas.

Apart from this, according to the state health department, a total of 442 new cases of corona virus have been registered in the state, while 6 people have also died during this period. The total number of corona cases in the state has gone up to 10,560. Of this, 3,716 cases are active, while 6,670 patients have been discharged after treatment. At the same time, 170 people have died in the state so far.
