Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the death of seven people in a horrific road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district on Friday morning. In fact, a high-speed bus crushed the pilgrims sleeping on the roadside along the Narora Ganga Ghat. In this accident, 7 people died on the spot. CM Yogi has announced a relief amount of Rs 2-2 lakh to each of the families of the deceased.
With this, CM Yogi has ordered that the strongest action should be taken against the accused. Expressing condolences to the kin of the dead, CM Yogi has wished the peace of the departed souls. It is being told that all the pilgrims were going from Hathras to Narora Ghat for bathing the Ganges after seeing it from Vaishno Devi. On the way, these people got off their bus and slept on the roadside to rest. During this time, a painful accident occurred. The bus driver is absconding from the spot after the accident.
After receiving the information of the accident, a heavy police force including Dibi CO reached the spot and took the bodies and sent them for postmortem. Police is now trying to contact their family members. In the case, SSP Santosh Kumar Singh said that this tragic incident happened around four in the morning. A bus full of devotees reached Narora Ghat. All the devotees boarding the bus were residents of Hathras.
