Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, changes are being made regarding the rules of graduation exams. Indeed, the grading system will now be applicable in graduation. This change is being made in view of the tension created among the students about the exam. In this regard, state CM Yogi Adityanath held a big meeting with the officials of the higher education department, after which CM Yogi issued instructions to the officials. 

Now in all state universities and private universities, Ba, BCom and BSc will now be given marks only through grading. This grading arrangement will be of 10 points. The pass percentage of each written and experimental exam will remain at 33 per cent. That is, the internal assessment will be of 25 marks and the marks of the university examination will be 75. According to the information received, the university exam will be mandatory to pass 33 per cent of the 75 marks. This system will be implemented in all the universities of the state from the year 2022-23.

With this, the pattern of the Uttar Pradesh Board's 10th and 12th examinations is being revised. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will conduct the high school examination on a new pattern from the next session. Along with this, the new pattern of examination programme will also be implemented in intermediate in the year 2025.
