Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath has slammed Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for questioning the law and order situation in the province. CM Yogi Adityanath has said Priyanka Vadra's tweet on law and order in Uttar Pradesh is a disappointment for the Congress party's defeat.
CM Yogi said that the Congress party lost badly in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections. His brother and Congress party national president Rahul Gandhi has also suffered a humiliating defeat. CM Yogi has described Priyanka's tweet as frustration and said she has to do something to stay in discussions in Delhi, Italy or England. In a tweet, Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Vadra attacked the Yogi government for the rising crime in UP, saying that the government has surrendered to the culprits.
"In Uttar Pradesh criminals are roaming freely and doing whatever they want. Criminal incidents are taking place one after the other. However, its BJP government has turned deaf. Has the Uttar Pradesh government surrendered before criminals?" Priyanka had tweeted in Hindi along with a collage of news reports indicating various incidents of crime.
