Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a big decision to curb corruption. In fact, in a high-level meeting chaired by CM Yogi, it has been decided to open 8 new units of the Anti-Corruption Organization (ACO) in the state. Under this, these new units are being set up in UP, which will prove to be helpful in eliminating corruption from government departments. The new areas where the Yogi government is going to set up new units include Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Chitrakut, Prayagraj, Devipatan, Basti, Aligarh and Saharanpur. For this, a proposal has been sent to the government on behalf of DG ACO Nasir Kamal.

As soon as it gets the green signal, new units led by ASP will be opened in these districts. In four of these places, buildings for offices have also been identified. So far, 11 units are located in Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra and Jhansi in the eastern region and Meerut, Bareilly, Moradabad, Lucknow and anti-corruption organisation headquarters in the western region.
