Lucknow: The coronavirus continues to wreak havoc, meanwhile the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is going to give a big deal to the doctors treating corona patients. The state government is going to increase the enthusiasm of the Corona Warriors, who had put their life on the line to combat Coronavirus. For this, the government will provide incentives to doctors.

The Yogi government has started this scheme to encourage these warriors due to the increasing cases of corona and due to lack of doctors. Under the scheme, apart from the incentive amount, the government will also provide insurance facility to the doctors who come from different departments of the state and treat corona patients. Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad has written a letter to the Health Department of Uttar Pradesh, giving directions in this regard. After the letter, anaesthetics, nephrologists, cardiologists, chest physicians, women and paediatricians have asked doctors to register. After this, the incentive amount of Rs 75 thousand will be provided to these doctors for performing COVID duty.

Along with this, it has been announced to provide insurance cover to all these Doctors under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. Doctors will also be given service honours after corona duty. Physicians will also be honoured by the Health Department.
