UP CM attends PAC foundation day celebrations, recalls attack on Ram Janmabhoomi

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday attended a function organized at the PAC campus in Lucknow on the occasion of The Territorial Armed Constabulary (PAC) Foundation Day. On this occasion, he honored the soldiers who did excellent work. CM Yogi said in his speech that PAC personnel are known for their bravery.  

CM Yogi congratulated the officers related to UP Police and PAC on the foundation day of PAC. The Chief Minister said that the work of PAC has been highly commendable in maintaining the best law and order and maintaining peace during the traditional festivals. PAC is known for its valor and bravery. PAC has worked with full readiness for various challenges including internal security not only inside UP but also in different states of the country. He said that even when there was a terrorist attack on the parliament of the country, the soldiers of UP PAC had shown valor.

The way the UP PAC acted on the attack on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya was a demonstration of its bravery. CM Yogi said that during the last five and a half years, 1 lakh 60 thousand recruitments in the country's largest police force UP Police have been completed honestly. 46 such companies which were terminated for some reason, have now been reinstated and 41 thousand employees have been kept. Apart from this, 10 other companies have also been formed by UP PAC. Today, high-rise buildings are being constructed for residential arrangements in every PAC battalion.
