Lucknow: In view of Christmas and new year celebrations, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed to increase the number in the state in view of the spread of corona infection. CM Yogi has said that caution is necessary to overcome the infection. More care will be taken at public places like malls, cinemas, hotels, cafes and crowded places.

Corona guidelines, social distancing and masks will be mandatory in parties to be held in celebration of Christmas and New Year. Keeping in mind the Delta and Omicron variants of Corona, an alert has been issued to all the District Magistrates of the state. Increasing the scope of security and vigilance on the borders of UP, emphasis is being laid on the investigation of every passenger coming to the state, while vaccination is being done rapidly to protect the people of the state from the havoc of the new virus. In such a situation, keeping in mind the suggestions of the team of health experts in the state, instructions have been given to strengthen all the arrangements in government and non-government hospitals under the new guidelines.

According to experts, vaccination is an important weapon against the new variant of corona infection. The state government is trying to provide vaccine cover to the people of the state at the earliest. For this, the government is pushing for increasing the pace of vaccination in the state.
