Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi's plane has landed at the airport in Babatpur, Varanasi. CM Yogi and the Governor were present here to welcome him. PM Modi then reached the venue at Karkhiyaon, about 12 km from here. Here PM Modi dedicated 22 development projects costing more than Rs 870.16 crore and also laid the foundation stone of five projects worth Rs 1225.51 crore.

CM Yogi then started his speech with the slogan 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. CM Yogi Adityanath said, "Today, I express my gratitude to the farmers, cattle herders, and those who are going to get rights in their homes today. CM Yogi said it was not possible to set up the plant here without PM Modi's vision. CM Yogi further said that tractors have been given to farmers in the award today through Mandi Samiti.

CM Yogi said that earlier these mandi committees used to be symbols of exploitation of farmer brothers, but now these mandi committees are becoming the basis for nurturing and upgrading farmers. Our government has worked to transform the lives of farmers by setting up a new sugar mill here. Pm Modi has offered various schemes in Karkhiyaon at a cost of Rs 2100 crore in the district along with the Banas Dairy of Banaskantha District Milk Producers Association Limited of Gujarat.
