Lucknow: Taking a major decision, CM Yogi has issued orders for the action of the Hathras case to be taken by the CBI. CM Yogi said that CBI has recommended a probe for the purpose of thorough investigation into the unfortunate incident of Hathras and all the points related to it. CBI has been informed to take action by tweeting on behalf of CM's office. The CBI action order from the Yogi government came at a time when former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Vadra went to Hathras to meet the family of the deceased victim. The two leaders met the victim's family here for about an hour in a closed room.

Shortly after giving information about the recommendation of the CBI investigation by the CM office, CM Yogi Adityanath himself tweeted that with a view to investigating the unfortunate incident of Hathras and all the points related to it, the UP Government is investigating this case by the Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI). We are determined to bring the harshest punishment to all those responsible for this incident. ' It is worth mentioning that the Lucknow bench of the High Court has called the Additional Chief Secretary Home and DGP along with other officials on October 12 after taking suo motu cognizance of the Hathras incident. The court had asked to consider handing over the investigation to another action agency in case of not properly investigating the case.

CM Yogi Adityanath in action: CM Yogi is in action regarding the Hathras scandal. First, they investigated against 5 policemen, including SP and CO of Hathras on Friday night. On the instructions of Yogi, five policemen including SP Vikrant Veer of Hathras and the then CO Ram Shabad, guilty of negligent supervision in the incident of murder of the woman have been suspended. This investigation was done after getting the first report of the SIT constituted under the chairmanship of Home Secretary Bhagwan Swaroop to take action of the case. Then late Saturday evening, he recommended a CBI inquiry into the entire case.
