CM Yogi inspecting Lahchura Dam Project 'Gold will rise in coming days in land of Bundelkhand'

Mahoba: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said that the land of Bundelkhand will grow gold in the coming days. In this direction, the Arjun subsidiary project will play an important role. The development that Bundelkhand had hoped for, should get right. CM Yogi Adityanath was addressing the people present thereafter conducting a terrestrial inspection of the Lahchura Dam of Arjun subsidiary project in Mahoba district on Wednesday.

CM Yogi further said that the Arjun Sahayak project costing Rs 2600 crore will bring positive changes in the lives of farmers of Mahoba, Hamirpur, and Banda districts. In one or two months, this project will be completed and released in the hands of PM Modi. He said that 1.5 lakh farmers of 168 villages of Mahoba, Banda, and Hamirpur will get irrigation facility from this project built on the river Dhasan. Four lakh people will get pure drinking water and an irrigation facility will be provided in an area of 15,000 hectares.

CM Yogi further said that the river has been the basis of India's culture and tradition and sacred source of water. We have worshiped like Ganga Maiya by giving Mother's address to each river. According to the country and the situation, there should have been planning of every drop of water, but after independence, the then governments did not make any effort about it. Even if some plans were made, lack of funds came in the way. CM Yogi Adityanath said that I have a special attachment with Mahoba. This is the land of valor, the land of faith. Many features here connect us with spiritual and historical traditions. With the inspiration of PM Modi, the state government is doing fast development work here.
