Kanpur: In Uttar Pradesh, social worker Dr Nutan Thakur has filed a complaint with the Lokayukta, accusing former Minister of State Satish Pal of illegal possession of 32-acre government property in Derapur tehsil. It is alleged that the former Minister of State, along with the revenue workers, got the land named after him.

In the complaint, the collector, who has been posted since 2012 is also accused of not taking any action. Dr Nutan Thakur has filed a complaint before Lokayukta Justice Sanjay Mishra. Blamed that former Minister of State Satish Pal, a large village on 32 bighas of land in Derapur, after colluding with the revenue workers, got the government property in his name.

On 7 June 2012, a committee of three SDMs investigated and submitted the report to the present DM. The current SDM Derapur had filed a report against the former Minister of State. After this, instructions were issued from the government level for action, in this case, several times. Even after this, the DM did not take any action. The former Minister of State is trying to sell by plotting on that land. Nutan Thakur said that the case has been ignored even after clear investigation reports and recommendations. She has demanded action against responsible officers including DM. The same will now be investigated for this entire matter.
