New Delhi: The third wave of the corona has hit the country after a growing transition of Omicron. Meanwhile, the Congress party has made a big announcement. Congress has announced that the party will not hold big rallies in Uttar Pradesh and other electoral states. More than 55,000 new corona cases have been registered in the country on Wednesday. The Congress party has announced that it will not conduct major election rallies in other states including UP. Party National General Secretary KC Venugopal has said that the party has decided to postpone major election rallies in UP and other states.

K.C. Venugopal has said, "We have asked the state units to assess the status of coronavirus in their states and take a decision on holding rallies. Earlier, more than 20 girls were injured during a stampede in the Congress 'Main Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon' marathon held at Bishop Mandal Inter College ground in Bareilly. Taking a lesson from this, Congress has cancelled all rallies and programmes to be held in UP. Thousands of women and girls were seen without masks in the Bareilly incident and a stampede like the situation had arisen.

In addition, in view of the growing threat of the corona epidemic, the Central Government has made some changes in the guidelines for home isolation. Corona cases in the country have increased more than 6 times in the last 9 days, the doubling rate of Omicron is 3 days. The decision comes after corona cases escalated in the country.
