Amritsar: Congress councilor Rashi Aggarwal in Punjab's Ludhiana created a stir by announcing her decision to quit her party from the stage after a Bhajan evening. Rashi Aggarwal took this decision after listening to Kanhaiya Lal Mittal's famous song 'Jo Ram Ko Laaye Hai Hum Unko Laayenge' at Durga Mata Temple located near Jagrawan Bridge in Ludhiana.
According to the report, after this program, Rashi went on stage and said, 'I am serving as a councilor from the Congress party. I declare from this stage today, my body was here, but where my heart was, you have exposed my affection, that love, that feeling of patriotism. At this moment, I resign from the Congress party. After making this announcement, councilor Rashi Aggarwal said, "Jo Ram Ko Laaye Hai Hum Unko Laayenge. Mere Mohan Ki Baatein Me Janu Ya Vo Jane and Sare Jahan Se Pyari Mere Bharat Ki Naari.''
On hearing the announcement of the Congress councilor leaving the post after hearing the name of Ram, Kanhaiya Mittal said, "I have seen a lot of life, but never seen leaving the post in a moment." Referring to former CM Kalyan Singh, he said, "Kalyan Singh Ji left the post for Lord Ram. Today you have also left the office for Lord Ram. Today, when we talk about Ram Temple, We remember Kalyan Singh. We have faith in Yogi-Modi, but what Kalyan Singh Ji did, what the Kothari brothers did, you did today. I have always said that I don't sing for BJP, I sing for Lord Ram. I am associated with Shyam Dal and Ram Dal.''
