Congress is opposing the Civil Amendment Bill in the country. The same and senior Congress leader and former minister Nasimuddin Siddiqui have come forward on a video that is going viral on social media. Describing the video as fake, he has accused BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra, including Pakistan writer Tariq Fateh, of sharing it on Twitter with his ID, a conspiracy to defame him. They have also complained to the police to file a case against both.

For your information, let us tell you that in an interaction with journalists at Congress State Headquarters, MLC Nasimuddin Siddiqui said that BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra and Pakistani writer Tariq Fateh have tweeted a video. In it, a person is saying that we are Muslims first, then Hindustani. Those who clash with Islam will not accept the Constitution. There are more objectionable things in it. Siddiqui said that by writing captions along with the video, Patra and Tariq Fateh alleged that he (Siddiqui) is the one speaking in the video. The Congress leader has called it a conspiracy to defame him and the Congress as well as fake.

In his statement, Nasimuddin Siddiqui said that he has sent complaints by email and speed post to DGP, SSP Lucknow and Cybercrime Branch for the case against BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra and Pakistani writer Tariq Fateh. Siddiqui said that if the concerned Patra did not publicly apologize within a week, he would file a suit in the court.
