Bangalore: The Congress-JDS alliance, which is in the process of saving the government ahead of today's trust vote in Karnataka, is likely to replace the chief minister as the last move.  Congress is likely to make its new chief minister. Congress leader DK Shivkumar says the government is ready to give up the JDS to save it. He is willing to make someone chief minister on behalf of the Congress. He has told the High Command about it.

The decision, which was taken just before the voting in the House, will be known today whether it will help save the government but the rebel MLAs will not soften their tone. "If the government survives, the JDS is ready to resign as Chief Minister," Water Resources Minister DK Shivkumar told reporters. The JDS has free the Congress to elect a new chief minister.

He can make Cm to Siddaramaiah, G. Parmeshwar and any one of them. He said efforts are being made to persuade the rebels. In fact, from the very beginning, the Congress and the JDS leaders have demanded the change of chief minister. Many rebel MLAs have claimed that Kumaraswamy has resigned from the Assembly due to his work method and the intervention of his brother and PWD Minister HD Revanna. He has also held Kumaraswamy and his brother responsible for the political crisis in the state.
