'No Comment' says Congress on RSS invite to Pranab Mukherjee

On Thursday, the Congress said 'No Comment' on one of the senior leader of Indian, former president Pranab Mukherjee. Recently, the former president has accepted an invite for an RSS or Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh event. RSS has invited Pranab Mukherjee as a chief guest of the event. 

A lifelong Congressman, Pranab Mukherjee has accepted to address a camp for RSS cadre training to be volunteers or Pracharaks on June 07. According to the reports from NDTV, the camp has been organised at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.

During an interview, Congress spokesperson Tom Vadakkan said that ask Pranab Mukherjee. The only comment Congress have on this invite is no comment. He further said that all we can say is there is a lot of difference between ours and their beliefs.

Meanwhile, the RSS is the ideological instructor of the ruling BJP. Congress president Rahul Gandhi routinely blamed the organisation of trying to split the country into religious lines. They also said that RSS is trying to run the government by remote control.

While on this Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said, "Pranabda has often called the RSS anti-national, unpatriotic, immoral, dubious, fraud and vicious...Am sure the RSS must know how Pranabda feels about it. And it has called such a person. This means the RSS accepts whatever Pranab Mukherjee has said about them."

Pranab Mukherjee was the top diplomat of the Congress and a minister in nearly every Congress government from the time Indira Gandhi was prime minister.
