Jaipur: Former Rajasthan Deputy CM and Congress rebel leader Sachin Pilot has requested the countrymen to help the flood affected people in Assam and Bihar. Pilot has made this request amid the ongoing political upsurge in Rajasthan, where he has openly rebelled against the Gehlot government. Earlier, Pilot has been dismissed as the deputy CM and state Congress president.

On this, the pilot tweeted, 'I am praying for the flood affected people and their families in Assam and Bihar. In Assam alone 68 people died and 36 lakh people were seriously affected. I request all Indians to come together and join efforts to help the people affected by the floods.'

According to the news agency, this is Pilot's first tweet in the last 4 days. Before which he was tweeted on 14 July. He was removed from the post of Deputy CM and State Congress President on the same day. Soon after the investigation by the party, Pilot had tweeted and told that he can disturb the truth, but cannot beat it. After which in the evening, he tweeted and said, 'My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all who have come out in support of me today.'
