Congress introduces 'Mahapardafash Yatra against  CM Fadnavis's ‘Mahajandesh Yatra’

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Congress has now started the 'Mahapardafash Yatra' against the 'Mahadharadhar Yatra' of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. The meeting was also held on Monday during the Mahapardafash Yatra in Amravati district. Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee Chairman Balasaheb Thorat is leading the visit and the House. Congress leaders like former MPCC President Manikrao Thackeray and Yashomati Thakur attended the meeting.

It may be mentioned that some of the top Congress leaders were to attend the meeting, but they did not arrive. According to information, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Purva CM Ashok Chavan, state in-charge of the Congress, were also to attend the 'Mahapardafash Yatra' meeting but did not arrive. State Congress Committee Chairman Balasaheb Thorat said that the BJP government has not done anything in the last five years. Congress launched the plans and told it its plan. He said, we have organised this meeting to expose the policies of the BJP.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis is taking out the 'Mahajandesh Yatra’ from August 1 to 31 in the state. The Yatra is currently in its second phase which will run from 17th August to 31st August. The journey will start from Aurangabad and end at Nashik. It will cover Marathwada, West Maharashtra, Konkan and North Maharashtra during this period.
