Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy CM and senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said during an event organised by 'Mumbai Tak' that some MLAs of the NCP and Congress are in touch with him to join the BJP. Fadnavis said that these MLAs will join the BJP when the time is right. Fadnavis said, 'I think there is no consensus among the opposition parties on any issue. Sharad Pawar has rejected all the issues raised by the opposition. Even criticising Uddhav Thackeray, Pawar said that words like 'fadtoos' should not be used. The opposition is trying to move forward on the wrong issues.

Fadnavis said, 'There is a time for everything. Some people are with you in politics. So something is against you. But some issues are based on principles. That's why theres a right time to say everything. You do not get along with anyone, so you cannot repeatedly say things that make them feel uncomfortable. Fadnavis said that political relations are different from personal relations. He said, 'We have to face each other every day. However, the situation in Maharashtra is not the same as in the southern states. We do not harbour fanatical enmity. No matter how much we talk against each other, we can have a warm relationship. It looks like the time will come to tell the remaining half-truths. When that time comes, I will definitely tell.'

Same when Fadnavis was asked how many MLAs of the NCP and Congress are in touch with him. Discussion is going on in the state that some MLAs of NCP will join BJP. Can some Congress MLAs come? Under the leadership of Eknath Shinde, 17 Congress MLAs abstained from the floor test. Responding to this, Fadnavis said, 'We are always in touch with each other. We build relationships while working for the ruling party. Many people join us because of that connection and trust. Many MLAs came in the last five years. Therefore, there are many MLAs in contact, and I cannot say how many of them will come today, but the MLAs are in contact. Speaking further on the same issue, Fadnavis said, 'The time has come to convert contacts into relationships. This time will come before the elections. When asked, do you still need to import from other parties? Fadnavis said, The need never ends. It is that we are capable, but in the end, we will keep trying.'
