Jaipur, Rajasthan: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his Deputy Sachin Pilot was schedule  to meet Congress national president Rahul Gandhi Friday  but they could not due to latter's busy schedule. The talks between the three were rearranged for later today (Saturday) in which expansion of Rajasthan cabinet will be talked about.

Sources said that the council of ministers in Rajasthan will have 20 ministers that will include 10 loyalists of Sachin Pilot. Pilot himself is competing for departments like Home, Excise and Mining.

Gehlot, in a move to take in Pilot, already changed DGP in the state, and put his trusty IAS officials on ministries which may go to the Pilot group and appointed two retired IAS Govind Sharma and Arvind Mayaram in advisory roles for finances and economy respectively.

Approximately 20 ministers are likely to be sworn-in on Monday after Gehlot and Pilot hold the talks with Gandhi on Saturday to talk about the cabinet expansion.

Talking to reporters, Pilot said both he along with CM Gehlot are in  the national capital for the meeting with Gandhi on Saturday.

"The Chief Minister and I, both of us are in Delhi today. All the required people are in Delhi and we will discuss about the cabinet expansion. Soon we will be able to expand our cabinet. Our government has already started the work in the state for development. But after the council minister expansion, we'll fast track our work as per our manifesto for development. Whatever will be in favour of the state and the people, and those who should get an opportunity to work will be given a chance by the party," Pilot asserted.
