New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 2,71,202 new cases of corona have been found in India, which is 2,369 more than yesterday. After the arrival of new patients, the number of active corona patients in the country has increased to 15,50,377. The corona positivity rate in India has gone up to 16.28 percent. In the last 24 hours, 314 people have died in the country, while 1,38,331 corona patients have returned home after recovering. The cases of the new variant Omicron of Corona are also increasing continuously. So far 7,743 cases of Omicron have been reported in India. Omicron's cases have increased by 28.17 percent in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Department, more than 1.6 million corona tests were conducted in India in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, one year of corona vaccination drive in the country was completed on Sunday. India has so far been vaccinated at 156.76 crores. The corona recovery rate in India is 94.51 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 350,85,721 corona patients have returned home in India with patients recovering from the corona.

Maharashtra is the most infected region in the country. There have been 42,462 new corona cases in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 23 people have died due to this.
