New Delhi: India has reported 8,822 new cases of corona within 24 hours. This is the highest number of cases detected within a day in the last three months. These are 33 cases received on Tuesday. 8 percent more. According to the Union Health Ministry, 15 deaths have been recorded in a day. The active case figure in the country has gone up by 3089 to 53,637. However, the daily infection rate is only 2 percent.  

For the last three days, more than 8,000 cases were reported every day, however, on Tuesday, there was a sharp decrease in the number of new infections and a total of 6,594 new patients were recorded. On Monday, 8,084 new patients were found. Earlier, there were 8,328 new cases on June 10 and 8,582 cases on June 11.

The highest increase of 787 in active cases was recorded in Maharashtra. Then, there was an increase of 616 in Delhi, 406 in Kerala, 196 in Karnataka. Uttarakhand and Tripura have been the states where active cases have come down. On Wednesday, the health ministry said the recovery rate was 98.66 per cent. In 24 hours, 5718 patients have defeated corona. Of this, the highest number of 2165 people were cured in Maharashtra and 1576 in Kerala. So far, a total of 4,26,67,088 people have won over Corona. Due to Corona, 15 people died in the last 24 hours. According to the health ministry's portal, seven of these deaths are from Kerala, which took place in the past few days. Apart from that, 4 people lost their lives in Maharashtra, 2 in Delhi and 1 each in MP-Rajasthan due to Corona.
