English Premier League is once again hit by covid. The match between Manchester United and Brentford has been cancelled due to Covid-19. This is the second match in three days which has been postponed due to an epidemic.  Where it has been found that 3805 players and club staff were tested in a week. Out of which 42 people were found to be infected which is 12 more than last week.

Manchester United had won 1-0 to Norwich on Saturday after which some players and staff of the club have been found infected. premier league board stayed it, accepting united's suggestion to postpone Tuesday's match.

Earlier, the Tottenham match was cancelled last Sunday due to the increasing cases of the Covid epidemic. Then 8 players of the club were found infected.  In addition, The Norwich and Aston Villa Football Club have also reported several cases of the covid epidemic. Covid's omicron variant is currently spreading in Britain, which has led to re-imposed restrictions. The Government is now appealing to all to wear masks, follow social distance and get booster dose of vaccines.
