Thiruvananthapuram: In Kerala, Corona has started spreading legs rapidly. On Saturday, the maximum number of 1103 new cases of corona were reported in the state, after which the number of corona infected reached 18,098. More than 1.5 lakh people are under surveillance in the state. In the present case, 9,420 patients are undergoing corona treatment. Health Minister KK Shailaja has told this time that 5 people infected with corona infection have lost their lives in the state. Due to which the death toll in the state has reached 60.

According to the medical bulletin, 1,049 people have recovered from Corona in the last 24 hours. In the state, the figure of people who have become corona free has reached 8,613. Health Minister Shailaja said that 119 of the new cases have come from abroad, 106 have returned to Kerala from other states, 838 people have been infected due to corona infected contact and the corona source of 72 patients has not been detected yet. In the last 24 hours, 22013 samples have been tested. So far, 6,65,982 lakh samples have been investigated in the state.

According to the Corona figures released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, 48,661 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country and 705 people have died. After this, the total number of corona infections in India has increased to 13,85,522. Of which 4,67,882 are active cases, 8,85,577 people have become healthy or have been discharged from the hospital and 32,063 people have lost their lives so far.
