New Delhi: The third phase of the vaccination campaign to curb the scourge of the coronavirus epidemic in the country also began on May 1. More than 84,000 people in the age group of 18 to 44 years took the first dose of corona vaccine on the first day in various states of the country. This was the 106th day of the vaccination campaign.

A total of more than 15.66 crore people were given vaccine supplements by 8 pm on May 1, including people over the age of 18. Meanwhile, the Central Government has instructed states to set up help desks in hospitals. The Centre has also asked the Walletier Group, NGO, and CSO to seek help for the same. 1,50,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine from Russia arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday amid a spurt in the corona vaccination campaign and lack of vaccine. There will also be some more supplies in the next few weeks. This consignment of vaccine will be used to run large vaccination program supply chains on various channels. Dr. Reddy's CEO said this was a hallmark of his commitment to combating the corona epidemic in India.

Registration for the covid vaccine can be done through Cowin and Arogya Setu app. Since registration began on April 28, 18+ have been applying fast through these platforms. 2.45 crore registrations have been made in just two days.
