Washington: Renowned British writer and editor Nicholas Wade, who wrote on sciences issues, said researchers at China's Wuhan Institute of Virology were using corona infections to infect human cells and humanized mice, and the use on the same side is likely to cause viruses like corona.

Wade raised several questions on the origin of SARS-COV-2 in an article titled 'Origin of Covid: Opened pandora's box in Wuhan or by nature?' published in the prestigious Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists early this month. Corona infection began to spread from Wuhan in December 2019 and became a global epidemic. Wade also said that the evidence confirms the apprehension that the infection was caused in a laboratory from where it spread.

"But there is not enough evidence to confirm that," Wade added. Many people know that there are two main speculations about the origin of the virus- one is that it came naturally from wildlife to humans and the second is that the virus was being studied in a laboratory from where it spread. "Wuhan is home to China's main Corona Virus Research Center, where researchers were making bat-related corona infections to attack human cells," Wade explained further. He said that he was doing so amidst minimum security arrangements and if the transition of SARS 2 spread unexpectedly from there, it is not surprising.
