New Delhi: Corona infection in Delhi seems to be decreasing. However, the death toll is still raising concerns. On Thursday, 4,291 cases of the corona were reported in Delhi and 34 patients lost their lives. The infection rate has reached 9.56 per cent. According to the Delhi government, 637 corona patients have lost their lives in 27 days this month. However, most of them were those whose major cause of death was not corona infection.
When the deaths due to corona in the national capital Delhi were analysed, many important things came out. According to the data, between January 13 and 15, 89 patients died of corona in Delhi. Of these, only 36 per cent were those who had taken both doses of the corona vaccine. The statistics that have come out about corona deaths show that the vaccine has proved to be effective so far. Because most of the deaths have been of people who did not take the vaccine.
Officials said 438 patients died between January 13 and 25. Of these, 94 patients were the only patients whose main cause of death was corona. Officials said five of the 94 were those who were not eligible to take the vaccine. There were 57 people who had not been vaccinated, while there were only 32 who had taken the first or both doses of the vaccine. According to officials, 64 per cent of the dead were those who were eligible to take the vaccine but had not taken the vaccine.
