Raipur: In view of the third wave of Corona across the world, instructions have been given to children to be more vigilant. For them, the problem is aggravated because they are small and they do not know much about the guidelines. But secondly, more importantly, there is no vaccine available for them at the moment.

However, recently vaccination for children in the age group of 15-18 years has started. However, there is still a very large section of children in the absence of vaccination. In Bemetara, Chhattisgarh, the coronavirus has started increasing at a rapid pace. In this, school children have also been affected in large figures. In a government school in Berla, 23 children have been found infected. All the children have been home isolated in their home. The health department team is monitoring them. Thereafter, the administration has closed the school for 5 days. With this, a total of 48 children have tested positive in different schools of the district.

The infected cases picked up when the report of five teachers of Kumari Devi Choubey Government Higher Secondary School, who was present at Devbhoomi Devarbeja in Berla Panchayat area of Bemetara, tested positive on Monday. Subsequently, an antigen test was conducted on 259 children studying in 10th standard in the school. Out of which 23 children have tested positive. This is the first case in the district when such a large number of children have been infected. Apart from these, 25 children have also tested positive in Navagarh and Bemetara blocks.
